Ukrainian Language
Ukrainian language is one of the curriculum’s main disciplines. Traditionally, it’s perceived as a set of boring and unappealing compulsory rules and schemes, which have little to do with real world application. With that in mind, we’ve combined creative and interactive approaches to the study of very difficult topics. Specifically we look for grammar and spelling mistakes in the local press and election programs of politicians. We compose extremely complicated and lengthy complex sentences on the problems of ecology in the region as well as design the first school-based dialectological blog in Ukraine. Finally, we hold heated disputes and even judicial debates. Preparing for the External Independent Testing is not about learning the rules and definitions, but rather developing structural and systematic knowledge. Our aim is to form two main competencies, namely absolute literacy and decent, reasonable and fluent speaking skills.
