From the social standpoint of the educational process each pupil should learn the basics of healthcare and safety. This is the goal of Healthcare classes. Our primary task is teaching our pupils to safely find their way back home, to analyze useful and harmful habits and to model competent behavioural patterns in situations which have to do with handling unknown objects.

Children explore personal relationships. They can explain why a person needs a daily routine, good food habits and time for rest. They understand why it is necessary to be punctual. They can assess their contribution to a common cause and the contribution of others. They analyze situations in which children’s rights have been breached.

Healthcare classes are special; namely, because obtaining health and safety skills requires for a great majority of classroom tasks to be solved in groups. The main guiding approaches here are game-based learning, applying non-standard methods and forms of teaching, ICT.N Naturally, the teacher’s charisma and positive child-teacher relationships are vital in this equation. As a result, there is lots of laughter, joy and praise in our classes.
