It is generally believed that after graduation, the school story comes to an end. For our graduates, it has simply entered a new chapter.

Just a few days after the celebrations, the boys set off on another journey. Not because they had to, but because they wanted to share one more important adventure with their class teacher, Maksym Lozko.

Five days. Four nights. 80 kilometers through the Carpathians.

The route ran from the village of Dzembronia in the Ivano-Frankivsk region to the village of Kvasy in Zakarpattia. During this time, the boys crossed the entire Chornohora Ridge — one of the most picturesque hiking routes in Ukraine.

The first night was spent between Vukhatyi Kamin and Smotrych. At four in the morning, they set off with flashlights to meet the sunrise at Mount Pip Ivan Chornohirskyi. That same evening, they watched the sunset on Mount Hutyn Tomnatyk, and by 10:30 p.m., they had set up camp near Lake Brebeneskul.

Ahead lay Hoverla, Petros, nights high in the mountains, dozens of kilometers of trails, exhaustion, mutual support, conversations around the tents, sunrises, sunsets, and landscapes that stay in your memory forever.

The greatest value of this story is that after graduation, the boys themselves chose to spend five days alongside their teacher. Moments like these cannot be scheduled. They emerge only where there is mutual understanding, trust, respect, and a genuine human connection — one that does not end with graduation, but grows stronger through new journeys, new summits, and new memories made together.
