Every new step is an experience that no theory can replace.

It is through action, consistency, discipline, and perseverance that inner strength is built — the kind of strength that teaches us not to stop in the face of difficulties, but to keep moving forward.

At BTL "Radowell", we believe that a child truly grows when they do not simply listen, but experience, try, make mistakes, overcome challenges, and discover the world through their own experience. That is why the foundation of our educational concept is #LearningThroughExperience — an approach that helps awaken children’s curiosity, courage to explore, and desire to keep developing.

On May 16, an internal hiking and trekking competition was held for 5th- and 6th-grade students of BTL "Radowell".

But this day was the result of a great deal of preparation. The day before, teachers and older students planned the competition stages and prepared the course. This is important work that often goes unnoticed by many, but it is precisely what forms the foundation of a safe, high-quality, and truly successful event.

Seven teams took part in the competition. Each stage required focus, endurance, proper technique, and mutual support.

The children completed:

• traverse
• parallel ropes
• self-belayed traverse
• ascent
• descent
• log crossing
• vertical ascent

A special feature of the event was that older students became mentors for the younger ones. They shared their knowledge, helped with preparation, provided support, and accompanied the participants as they completed the course.

It was also wonderful to see other teachers at the event, having come to support the children.

The competition results were as follows:

• 1st place — “Girls’ Vibe”
• 2nd place — “Monolith 2”
• 3rd place — “Adrenaline”
• “Heavenly Tigers”
• “Unconquered”
• “Radowell Wolves”
• “Energy”
