With the winter holidays just around the corner, our students are not slowing down. On the contrary, they continue to demonstrate their strength and character at national competitions.

On December 13–14, the 12th All-Ukrainian Freestyle Wrestling Tournament “Step to Olympus” was held in Malyn. The competition was dedicated to Valerii Andriitsev, silver medalist of the 30th Olympic Games. Young athletes from across Ukraine competed for victory, and our wrestlers proudly represented the lyceum:

2nd place: Vitalii Torhonskyi, Grade 7-B (up to 47 kg)
3rd place:  Roman Andriienko, Grade 7-B (up to 35 kg)
3rd place:  Nazar Movchun, Grade 6-B (up to 53 kg)
3rd place: Nikita Marchyk, Grade 6-B (up to 66 kg)

On December 19–20, the 29th All-Ukrainian Freestyle Wrestling Tournament for boys, dedicated to the memory of coach Bohdan Stsibailo, took place in Ternopil.

2nd place: Roman Andriienko once again proved his ability to compete consistently at a high level among the strongest athletes.

We are proud of our wrestlers and wish them even more confidence, strength, endurance, and competitive spirit.
