On November 19, students of grades 5 at Biotechnological Lyceum "Radowell" experienced a day full of discoveries and true learning through experience.

The educational trip route took them from the lyceum to the Korosten Local History Museum and Drevlianskyi Park. In a single day, the students had the opportunity to combine the study of history, natural sciences, and a foreign language.

At the Korosten Local History Museum, together with history teacher Tetiana Fedorchuk, the students explored the history of their native region, studied historical exhibits, and learned how to work with historical sources. The porcelain exhibition made a particularly strong impression on the children, demonstrating how skill, creativity, and dedication can transform ordinary clay into a true work of art.

The next destination was Drevlianskyi Park. Under the guidance of biology teacher Lesia Khandozhko, the students conducted real field research: identifying plants, observing birds, reviewing topics from the course "Exploring Nature," and discussing the importance of environmentally responsible behavior.

A special part of the trip was the opportunity to communicate with Ron, a volunteer from the United States. Together with English teacher Nataliia Liubychenko, he helped the students practice real-life English communication, overcome language barriers, and apply their knowledge with greater confidence.

Trips like these once again demonstrate that the best learning happens when children do more than simply listen—they explore, observe, ask questions, and gain firsthand experience. This is how a deeper understanding of the world is developed and how confidence in one’s own abilities grows.
