Lyceum at the UNESCO Forum
Foundational Educational Institution Biotechnological Lyceum "Radowell" at the UNESCO Forum!
On November 25–26, 2025, we joined one of the most significant events in Ukrainian education — the Second National Forum of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network in Ukraine. This year’s theme was: “Education for a Sustainable Future: Care, Partnership, Action.”
UNESCO Associated Schools form an international network of educational institutions working to advance:
- human rights education
- intercultural dialogue
- environmental responsibility
- innovative teaching methods
- partnerships between schools worldwide
Founded in 1953, the network now brings together thousands of schools across different countries.
Our lyceum was represented by:
- Lesia Doroshenko — Principal
- Roman Pavliuk — English teacher
- Daryna Romanenko — Grade 9-A student
The forum became a platform for dialogue, new ideas, and exchange of experience with other schools. A draft Resolution on student self-government in UNESCO schools was developed. Today, student representatives have already reviewed the document and begun discussions to contribute their ideas and implement best practices in school life.
We returned home inspired, with new connections and a clear understanding of our role within both the Ukrainian and international educational community.
Together, we are shaping the future!
