LEARNING THROUGH EXPERIENCE
Physical education, art, and music came to life during the first hike of this academic year. This is the essence of the “Learning through Experience” concept — when knowledge is reinforced in practice and becomes real experience. Because once lessons go beyond the classroom, real life begins.
On September 10, a hike took place to the picturesque Dibrova quarry, where teachers combined three disciplines for 9th-grade students:
- Physical Education: students explored туристичне equipment, practiced using climbing carabiners, and set up and tested a real zipline. This fostered discipline, responsibility, and teamwork.
- Visual Arts: students created unique prints on fabric, turning clothing into works of art. Each expressed individuality and creativity.
- Music: in the evening, students attended an open-air lecture projected outdoors, while songs by the campfire created a warm sense of unity.
At dawn, students immersed themselves in meditation. The quiet of the quarry became the perfect setting — the cool air cleared their minds, while the scenery brought clarity and calm.
We thank our teachers for generously sharing their knowledge and giving students practical tools to gain real experience. These lessons will stay in their memories forever.
