Teaching mathematics is an obvious task for any mathematics teacher! But pushing students to understand that this discipline is of fundamental importance to all other sciences is one of the main tasks of our teachers in the lyceum.

A number of events took place during the week of mathematics and physics:

• It began with the rubric "Magic Numbers". Students of grades 7-A and 10-A, together with teachers Valentina Grek and Maryna Omelyanchuk, investigated how numbers and their properties are related to people's lives.
• Intellectual competitions were held under the leadership of Iryna Fedorchuk.
• A mathematical quiz "Problems from the number Pi" was also held.
• Through the creative process, young mathematicians made a collage "Geometric Figures in the Wonders of World Culture".
• The week ended with a creative workshop "Ordinary Fractions in Music". Taras Vasilyevich explained that ordinary fractions have an important application in music. It is thanks to fractions that music has rhythm, order, predictability, and variability.
