EDUCATIONAL EXCURSION

Депутати обласної та районної рад завітали до БТЛ Радовель

On March 13, accompanied by teachers Tamara Yuskova and Bohdan Levchuk, 9th grade students of #btl_radovel took an excursion to the city of Berdychiv and Verkhivnya village

FIRST location – the Verkhivnya village

At the beginning of a busy day, the lyceum students visited the Honoré de Balzac Literary and Memorial Museum in the Hansky estate, where they learned little-known, interesting facts from the life of the French writer, saw ancient things that he used, and were quite impressed by the 19th century palace, its grandeur, luxury, and thoughtful planning.

This incredible creation by architect Bleriot in the Empire style demonstrates the conditions in which the "oligarchs" of that time lived.

SECOND location – the Berdychiv town

A cultural and historical monument of the 17th century is a small but majestic monastery of the Discalced Carmelites.

What the group encountered at this location:

  • luxurious baroque, carefully revived after the destruction of World War II;
  • an incredible Catholic church;
  • a city history museum;
  • a museum of the writer Joseph Conrad;
  • interesting stories from the tour guide about the life of the townspeople from the 16th to the 21st centuries;
  • exhibitions from different historical periods, large-scale dungeons.

The students asked questions, took a lot of photos, and communicated with the tour guide and teachers.

At the end, the lyceum students were invited to the church. There they read a prayer for peace in Ukraine together and received wishes of good fortune and success in their studies from the priest.

From the group:

"We express our sincere gratitude to all the organizers of this trip, and especially to the patron Mykhailo Veselsky! Thanks to his support, our students have the opportunity to discover new corners of our beautiful country!"
