To the day of the creation of the United Nations for the protection of the environment
THE RESEARCH that students of our lyceum #btl_radovel conducted in preparation for the project "ECO-INITIATIVE: for a clean future" primarily concerned issues of eco-consciousness of the people of our community.
Interviewers:
Alina Kurta, Roman Bylyuk, Iryna Pavlenko
In addition, the following were involved in the research and presentation:
Zakhar Romanenko, Denys Lisovyi, Artem Petukhov.
The lyceum students conducted a small survey in Olevskaya TG among people of different age categories. Of course, the sample is not representative, but still the group allowed itself to draw some conclusions:
1. Unfortunately, none of the passers-by thought about the issue of ecology in the context of war. But due to shelling, fires, and mining, huge areas of forests and reservoirs are suffering, the atmosphere is polluted, and the biodiversity of the ecosystem is being disrupted.
2. The most common answers were: to sort garbage and plant trees.
3. Most people know about sorting, but they don’t do it themselves yet.
All participants are UNESCO Associated Schools in Ukraine, including:
Lyceum No. 23 of Zhytomyr named after M. Ocheret, Lyceum No. 25 of Zhytomyr, Lviv Linguistic Gymnasium, Ukrainian Humanitarian Lyceum of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Krok University Vocational College, Lyceum No. 176 of Miguel de Cervantes Kyiv,
presented videos, presented their visions and concepts of environmental restoration.
It was pleasant and useful to unite with other educational institutions in a joint appeal to the city councils of territorial communities of Ukraine with an appeal to restore the environment.
We are sincerely grateful to all participants for their active position in such an important matter, and to Lyceum No. 23 for the high-quality organization and holding of the event!
